Developing and sustaining a strong junior section is a strong belief of our club. It is vitally important that the club is there to provide boys and girls from the surrounding area the opportunity to learn how to play golf, develop their game and play golf in the true spirit that it was intended.

Being a junior member of this fantastic golf club is second to none and a great pathway into the adult game. Some of our junior members have gone on to represent Scotland, Ayrshire and have become our Club Champions and Captains over the years.

The safe, relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the clubhouse ensures that our new younger members are made to feel welcome and can enjoy using the facilities in the club. We have regular team matches against other local clubs as well as juniors only competitions to enable them to learn the game in a nurturing environment. The juniors can use the clubhouse to socialise watch TV or grab some lunch - a sight you regularly see in the long summer holidays!

Juniors from the age of 8 can be become a junior member of the Club. Entry to the club is immediate and there is no cost for those boys and girls aged under 11. All our younger golfers continue to pay discounted membership fees until the age of 26.
